The Mother of All Bachelor Parties, Part 2

Sorry for the delay on writing the second part of our mis-adventure, but I seem to be suffering from a nasty sinus infection and sore throat brought on by acute dontwanttogobacktowork-itis.
So by the third day, we were back at sea heading home. Most of this day involved lots of drinking for most, gambling, and various other activities. I wasn't feeling the drinking thing too much by this day, so I instead delighted in watching all the others get blasted beyond belief. Johnny (Jonathan) gets the mega-uber drinker award for the trip, as he succeeded in getting drunk and sobering up no less than 3 times in one day!
Jason and Larry also got pretty ripped, and for a little while there I thought I was going to have to use that great Army training to give Larry a saline IV.
Dinner was great that last night, but the only problem was that Jason and Johnny were knocked the hell out back in the cabin. After dinner though, Johnny recovered fully and spent a good while gambling, and I think he ended the trip pretty damn close to even if not ahead. A few of us stayed up till about 330-ish that night, hitting the club and gambling till we crashed. The one big event on the last night was karaoke... Gio stole the show on this one, doing mad sick renditions of Prince's Kiss and the Humpty Dance. I always thought Gio was kick ass doing karaoke, but on this night he was... god.
The next morning we all got up a bit later than we should have, cleaned up, packed, and got off the boat. I have to say that for us the disembarking process was probably the easiest I've gone through yet, and even customs got us through lightning fast.
Looking back on it, this was one of the best vacations I've had in years. Not just because it was a getaway, but because it was all about spending time with buddies while forgetting about all our worries and stress stemming from the 'real life' awaiting our return. I can't remember the last time I had a chance to talk to a friend like that for hours, and not have to worry about what time it was or what I had to do tomorrow at work. With that said, Johnny and I in particular had some good long talks and it was really nice to have that and to know that I have such a great friend in my life. (love you man, and not in a Mike Honcho way either...) It also reinvigorated my sense of need for contact with friends, because anyone that knows me well knows that I tend to be on the keep-to-myself side most of the time.
After this crusie though, I'm definitely looking forward to spending more time with freinds now, even if we aren't getting wasted together in the middle of the ocean.
